The AirTAC GFR300C08NT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/4 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08NT is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 300 unit is threaded 1/4 in NPT, carries a 40 um standard filter element, and drains condensate automatically through its differential-pressure drain, so no manual draining routine is needed while air is flowing. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the unit operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No pressure gauge is fitted on this variant, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grade (40 um standard or 5 um with code W), gauge and thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing or any datasheet figure for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the actuator circuits that drive capping, filling and labelling heads, where a 1/4 in NPT point-of-use filter regulator sits directly at the machine drop.
Supplying the pneumatic diverters and stop gates on a distribution-centre conveyor, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate while the line runs continuously.
Regulating the air to workholding clamps and tool-change cylinders on a machining centre, where a steady downstream pressure in the 0.15-0.9 MPa range keeps clamping repeatable.
Start with the port step: this unit is 1/4 in NPT in size 300; if your line needs more flow, step up to size 400 or 600 rather than oversizing the regulator setting. Choose the drain to match duty: differential-pressure (as fitted here) drains with flow, automatic (code A) drains on a cycle, and manual (code M) needs an operator. Pick the element grade for the air quality downstream: 40 um standard, or 5 um (code W) where finer protection matters. Decide on a gauge and its scale (MPa, psi or bar) if you want a setpoint visible at the unit - this variant has none fitted. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a bracket is included.
Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated number, we cannot quote one rated figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated l/min, SCFM or Cv value. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and sizing against the datasheet on request.
This variant drains condensate automatically by differential pressure as air flows through the bowl, with no manual draining needed. If your duty suits a different approach, the GFR300 family is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M); note that the regulator adjustment range differs by drain type, with manual-drain versions covering 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
