The AirTAC GFR300C15AC2WK AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 5 um Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C15AC2WK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus pressure regulation combined in one body. This size 300 configuration is drilled for a 1/2 in PT port and carries a 5 um filter element (the W grade, one step finer than the 40 um standard), an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without anyone opening a valve, a round external pressure gauge reading in psi, and a built-in reverse/check valve. The regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20 to 130 psi). The bowl on this size is polycarbonate; only the 600 size uses an aluminium alloy bowl. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale options, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads orderable in place of the PT standard. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the air feed to a CNC machining center's solenoid valves and pneumatic clamps: the 5 um element keeps particulate out of the valve spools while the automatic drain handles condensate on machines running unattended shifts.
Holding a steady set pressure on the stopper and pusher cylinders of a packaging conveyor, so the actuators see consistent supply while the bowl catches water carried over from the compressor room.
Feeding a bottling line's pneumatic valve manifold at a controlled pressure, with the reverse/check valve holding the downstream circuit against backflow when the upstream supply is vented.
Choose the size step first: 200, 300, 400 and 600 move up in port size and flow capacity, so match the size to the air demand of the circuit rather than to the pipe alone - this size 300 unit takes a 1/2 in PT port. Next pick the drain: automatic (fitted here) suits points nobody visits to drain by hand; manual suits attended stations; differential-pressure drain is the default. On filtration, 40 um is the standard element and the 5 um W grade fitted here is the finer option for circuits feeding valves and instruments. The gauge can be ordered with MPa, psi or bar scale, and the thread can be ordered as G (BSPP) or NPT instead of PT. Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than one rated figure, send us your flow requirement and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one number we can quote honestly. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The W code orders the 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard, which suits circuits feeding directional valves, instruments or other components that tolerate less particulate. The A code orders the automatic drain, which ejects collected condensate on its own - a good match for points that are not drained by hand each shift. With this configuration the regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
