The AirTAC GFR300C15AJC1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, Auto Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C15AJC1T is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This size 300 unit carries a 1/2 in NPT port, a 40 um standard filter element, and an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and this configuration is fitted with an external round pressure gauge scaled in MPa. Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the size 300 bowl is PC (polycarbonate).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is available with manual or differential-pressure drains as well as automatic, a 5 um (code W) element option, square or round gauges scaled in MPa, psi or bar, G or NPT thread options, and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning ahead of tool-clamp and chuck actuation circuits on a machining centre: the 40 um element strips water and swarf-carried particulate from the shop-air drop, while the regulator holds a stable setting to the clamp valves and the automatic drain keeps the bowl clear between shifts.
Mounted at the drop feeding cylinder-driven pushers, gates and stop stations on a packaging conveyor, this filter regulator delivers clean air at a fixed pressure so cylinder strokes stay repeatable, with the round MPa gauge giving operators a visible setpoint at the machine.
Installed on branch take-offs from a factory compressed-air ring main, the unit conditions and regulates air for downstream valves and air tools on that branch; the 1/2 in NPT port suits main-line branch piping and the automatic drain handles condensate in runs that are rarely visited.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in port, one of five sizes (200/300/400/600) stepping up in port and flow capacity - match the step to your line's air demand. Choose the drain to suit access: automatic (this unit) suits unmanned or hard-to-reach installations, manual suits attended stations, and differential-pressure drain is the default. The 40 um element is standard; specify the 5 um W-code element where finer particulate removal is needed. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options) are decodable choices, and brackets are optional on GFR.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number here. Tell us your inlet pressure, set pressure and expected air demand, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
The A in the code specifies an automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the bowl without operator attention - the right choice for unmanned cells or hard-to-reach mounting points. GFR300 units are also orderable with a manual drain or the differential-pressure drain default, and the drain choice also sets the regulator adjustment range: automatic and differential-pressure drains give 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), while a manual drain widens the bottom of the range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
