The AirTAC GFR300C15AJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C15AJC2T is a filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in one body, for compressed air only. This 300-size unit is threaded NPT1/2 (1/2 in), carries a 40 um filter element, and has an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without manual attention. The fitted round gauge reads in psi, the standard regulator adjusts from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). No mounting bracket is fitted and no reverse (check) valve is included. Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, a 5 um element option (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G/NPT thread options and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

A 1/2 in filtered and regulated supply feeding clamp and fixture cylinders on a machining centre: the 40 um element keeps swarf-laden plant air out of the clamps, the round psi gauge lets the setter verify clamp pressure at a glance, and the automatic drain clears condensate from the bowl during unattended shifts.
Mounted at the drop feeding conveyor diverters, gates and packaging cylinders, the unit cleans the air, holds a steady regulated pressure so product handling stays repeatable, and the automatic drain copes with the condensate that collects along long compressed-air runs.
Installed on a 1/2 in branch line serving impact drivers, air cylinders and blow-off stations in an assembly area, the filter regulator protects downstream equipment from water and dirt, the psi gauge supports routine pressure checks, and the automatic drain suits drops that are not emptied by hand.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) and ports (1/8 in to 1 in) to match the air demand of the line - larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Drain choice matters: automatic (as here) suits unattended duty, manual suits supervised points, and differential-pressure drain is the default where a pressure drop across the element can trigger discharge. The standard 40 um element covers general plant air; specify the W code for the 5 um grade where finer filtration is needed. Gauges are embedded square as standard with an optional external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales; this configuration is fitted with a round psi gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. Brackets are optional (this unit has none).
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow. Send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not state a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and required flow, and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The automatic drain discharges collected condensate from the bowl without anyone opening it by hand, which suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations. With an automatic or differential-pressure drain, the regulator adjustment range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi); only the manual-drain variant extends down to 0.05 MPa (7 psi).
