GFR300C15AJNTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2

The AirTAC GFR300C15AJNTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR300C15AJNTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2

The GFR300C15AJNTK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is tapped 1/2 in NPT, drains condensate automatically, and carries the standard 40 um filter element. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, a reverse/check valve is fitted, and no pressure gauge or mounting bracket is supplied. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the 300-size bowl is polycarbonate.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options include a 5 um filter element (code W), manual or differential-pressure drains, embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR300G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
C1Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR300C15AJNTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Is Used

precision_manufacturing

CNC fixture clamping circuit

Clean, regulated air feeding the clamping cylinders and pneumatic vise on a machining centre, with the automatic drain handling condensate between shifts and the check valve holding the set circuit.

conveyor_belt

Packaging line conveyor actuators

Supplying the stopper gates, pushers and diverters on a carton packaging conveyor, where the 1/2 in port serves the larger manifold and the 40 um element protects the directional valves.

build

Paint booth air preparation

Conditioning the air feed to spray guns and air-assisted applicators in a finishing booth, removing water and particles ahead of the gun while the regulator holds a steady atomising pressure.

Is the GFR300C15AJNTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 the Right Unit?

Choose the size by the port and flow step: sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 move progressively to larger ports (1/8 to 1 in) and more flow, so step up if your circuit draws heavily. Drain types are differential-pressure (default), automatic (this unit) and manual; automatic suits unattended installations. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauges (embedded square or external round, with MPa, psi or bar scales), mounting brackets, and G or NPT threads instead of the PT standard are order options. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR300C15AJNTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures so you can size the unit correctly.

The N in the code means no gauge is fitted. GFR units can be ordered with an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales. Tell us when ordering and we will quote the gauge version of this configuration.
