The AirTAC GFR300C15C3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C15C3T is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady. This configuration is sized for a 1/2 in NPT port, filters to the standard 40 um grade, drains condensate by differential pressure, and carries a round pressure gauge with a bar scale. The standard regulator adjusts from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options that include a 5 um element (code W), automatic or manual drains, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, a reverse/check valve, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

At the drop to a spray booth, the unit strips water and pipe scale from the supply and holds a steady regulated pressure to the gun circuit, so colour application stays consistent across a shift.
On a bottling hall conveyor run, stopper and pusher cylinders behave predictably when the air feeding them is filtered and held at one set pressure, reducing jamming at infeed and transfer points.
On a CNC machining centre, fixture clamps and tool-change cylinders need clean, pressure-stable air; a filter regulator at the machine inlet keeps the clamping circuit at its set point throughout the cycle.
Within the GFR line the real choices are the size and port step (200 through 600, ports 1/8 to 1 in) matched to the air demand of the circuit; the drain type (differential-pressure as here, automatic, or manual); the filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W); the gauge (an embedded square gauge as standard, or an external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scale); the thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options); and whether a bracket is fitted. This unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in NPT port, 40 um element, differential-pressure drain, round bar-scale gauge and bracket included.
Flow for the GFR series is published as capacity curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your line pressure, downstream pressure target and estimated air consumption and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow data as capacity curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number for this unit. Tell us your line pressure, required downstream pressure and estimated air consumption, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
This unit uses the differential-pressure drain, which is the default option in the GFR range. If you would rather have an automatic drain (code A) or a manual drain (code M), those are order options on the GFR family - note that the regulator adjustment range differs by drain type, so we will confirm the correct variant for your setup.
