The AirTAC GFR600C20MC2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600C20MC2 is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration carries a PT3/4 (3/4 in) port with PT thread, a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. The aluminium alloy bowl is fitted at this size, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include automatic or manual drains, a 5 um (W) element, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT threads, and a reverse/check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the 3/4 in main air drop feeding a CNC machining cell, the unit strips condensate and chips-scale particulate from the shop supply and holds a steady regulated pressure to the cell's valves and actuators.
Mounted ahead of the cylinder and gripper manifold on a packaging conveyor line, it cleans the compressed air and sets the working pressure the line's pick-and-place cylinders were designed around.
Placed upstream of large pneumatic control valves and actuators on a process skid, it protects the valve seats from water and debris and keeps supply pressure within the actuator's rated band.
Step up or down through the size range (200/300/400/600) and its port sizes (1/8 in to 1 in) to match the air demand of the line - larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow, and we can confirm the flow curves against your requirement. Choose the drain: manual (this model) needs periodic bleeding, automatic drains continuously, and differential-pressure draining is the default. Pick the filter grade: 40 um standard or 5 um (code W) where finer particulate removal matters. Select the gauge style and scale (embedded square or external round; MPa, psi or bar), the thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order), and whether a bracket is needed. Before ordering, ask us to confirm sizing against the application: flow is published as curves, not a single rating.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: the bowl is bled by hand at intervals. The GFR family also offers an automatic drain (code A) that discharges condensate continuously, and a differential-pressure drain as the default; the manual-drain version also carries the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range.
