The AirTAC GFR600C20MC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/4, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600C20MC2G is a size 600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a G3/4 (BSPP) port, a 40 um standard filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, and a fitted round gauge reading in psi. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy, and the unit operates in temperatures of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, thread forms (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options), drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional) and gauge styles and scales. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supply filtered, regulated air to the clamping cylinders and pneumatic vices on a machining centre, holding a stable set pressure at the fixture drop while the 40 um element keeps swarf-adjacent moisture and particles out of the valves.
Feed regulated air to the supply drops of a spray-painting booth, where clean, moisture-reduced air at a set pressure supports consistent gun operation and the manual drain lets operators clear accumulated water between shifts.
Serve the pneumatic cylinders and grippers on a carton-sealing conveyor line, with the regulator set to the pressure the packer's valves were designed for and the round psi gauge giving operators a visible setpoint check.
Start with size and port: the 600 frame with its G3/4 port is the largest step in the GFR range, so match it against the air demand of the circuit - and ask us to confirm sizing against the published flow curves before ordering, since no single rated flow figure is quoted. Next, choose the drain: this unit is manual (code M), meaning the bowl must be drained periodically; automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) versions exist if you prefer not to rely on an operator. Filter grade is 40 um as coded; a 5 um element (code W) is available where finer filtration is needed. The fitted round gauge reads psi; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the alternative. Thread here is G (BSPP) - PT is the standard form, with G and NPT as orderable options - and a mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow and datasheet figures for this unit on request before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: the bowl must be drained periodically by an operator. If you prefer unattended operation, GFR units are also available with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain that is the default, and the regulation range differs by drain type - manual-drain units adjust from 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), while automatic and differential-pressure versions adjust from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
