The AirTAC GFR600C20MF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT3/4, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600C20MF2 is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds the downstream pressure at your set point. This size-600 unit is built around a 3/4 in PT port, with a manual drain bowl in aluminium alloy, a 40 um standard filter element, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi so the regulated pressure is visible at the unit. The standard regulator covers a setting range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port options from 1/8 to 1 in, PT (standard), G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element option, gauge scale choices and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding impact wrenches and nutrunners on a final-line manifold: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before they reach the tools, while the regulator holds a steady set pressure so torque delivery stays repeatable shift after shift. The manual drain lets maintenance purge the aluminium bowl during scheduled rounds.
Supplying the cylinders and grippers on a carton-forming and case-packing conveyor: clean, regulated air at a fixed set point keeps stroke timing consistent across the line, and the square psi gauge lets an operator verify the setting at a glance without extra instrumentation.
Feeding the pneumatic clamps and tool-changer cylinders on a machining centre: the filter regulator protects the clamping valves from condensate and debris and holds the clamp pressure the process was set up with. The 3/4 in PT port suits the main drop feeding the machine's air preparation panel.
Size and port are the first choice: 600 is the largest GFR frame, and this unit carries a 3/4 in PT port, so step up or down (200/300/400/600) to match the pipe size and air demand of the line. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. The remaining choices are all decodable: drain type (this unit has a manual drain, which also widens the regulator setting range to 0.05-0.9 MPa; automatic and differential-pressure drains suit unattended installations), filter grade (40 um standard here, 5 um with the W code for finer protection), gauge scale (this unit's square gauge reads psi; MPa and bar scales are available), thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options), and bracket (included on this unit).
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code selects a manual drain: the aluminium bowl is purged by hand, which suits attended installations with maintenance rounds. It also gives the regulator the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range. If the unit will run unattended, ask about the automatic or differential-pressure drain versions of the same size.
