The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-10 Filter (GF30010JW) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 5 µm element, with PT3/8" ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF30010JW is a G-series compressed-air filter for water and particulate removal only - no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This configuration pairs the fine 5 um element (W suffix) with the 40 um alternative available elsewhere in the range, size 300 with a 3/8 in PT port, the differential-pressure drain as default, and no mounting bracket (J suffix). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the operating range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the 300-size bowl is PC (polycarbonate).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family spans sizes 200 to 600, with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, bracket or bracketless builds, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options to order alongside the standard PT port. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating - we confirm the datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitted on the air feed to pick-and-place and board-handling pneumatics on an electronics line, the GF30010JW's 5 um element screens fine particulate ahead of sensitive motion components, with the unit piped directly into the manifold without a bracket.
Installed ahead of a blow-off or air-knife header on a production line, it removes water and 5 um-scale particles so the delivered air jet stays clean and dry on the product surface.
Placed in the pneumatic supply to wire-drawing or cable-extrusion line equipment, it conditions air for air-bearings, tensioners and clamps where fine contamination would mark the product.
This code combines three deliberate choices: the 5 um element for finer particle removal than the 40 um standard, the J no-bracket build for direct pipework or enclosure mounting, and the differential-pressure drain as the standard drain style - swap to automatic (A) or manual (M) in the code if your maintenance routine calls for it. Size 300 with a 3/8 in PT port is the mid step; move up or down the 200-600 range to match the port and duty of the line.
Thread is standard PT with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we cannot quote one number honestly. Give us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the corresponding data from the GF300 datasheet on request.
Only the filter element: the W suffix fits the 5 um grade instead of the 40 um standard. Size (300), port (3/8 in PT), drain (differential-pressure) and the no-bracket build are identical between the two codes.
