The AirTAC AirTAC GF300-15 Filter (GF30015MJ) is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with PT1/2" ports and a manual drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF30015MJ is a G-series compressed-air filter: it removes water and particulate from the air line only - no regulation, no lubrication. This configuration is size 300 with a 1/2 in PT (the standard thread) port, a polycarbonate manual-drain bowl and the standard 40 um element, and the J suffix means no mounting bracket is supplied. Maximum inlet pressure for the manual-drain version is 0.9 MPa.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family runs from size 200 to 600 with port, thread (PT/G/NPT), drain (manual, automatic, differential-pressure) and element (40 um standard, 5 um with W) options, and bracket versions are available if you want one. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet and flow figures on request.
| Model | AirTAC GF300-15 Filter (GF30015MJ) |

| Series | GF300 air filter |
| Port size | PT1/2" (PT thread) |
| Filtering grade | 40 µm |
| Drain type | Manual drain |
| Bracket | Supplied without bracket |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Inlet pressure | 0 - 0.9 MPa (0 - 131 psi) |
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -5 to +70 °C (unfreeze) |
| Bowl material | PC |
| Feature | Low pressure loss |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GF300 | G-series air filter, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| J | Supplied without bracket. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitted on the supply stub inside a control panel that feeds solenoid valves and air piloted devices, it keeps moisture and debris out of the valve stack where a bracket is not needed.
Installed at a workshop bench outlet ahead of impact wrenches, ratchets and blow guns, it dries the shop air so the tools and quick couplings last longer.
Placed on the bench air supply in a commercial-vehicle workshop, it removes water from the line before it reaches tyre inflators, air chisels and brake-test equipment.
This is the size 300, 1/2 in port filter in the no-bracket (J) configuration - pick the bracketed GF30015M if you want wall or panel mounting hardware in the box, or this one if you are installing inline or on existing hardware. The manual drain suits installations someone can walk up to; automatic or differential-pressure drain variants exist for unattended positions. The 40 um element is the general-purpose grade; the W variant gives 5 um for finer protection. PT is the standard thread, with G and NPT as order options.
Filter flow appears as curves, not one rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your air demand before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
There is no single rated-flow figure for this filter - AirTAC publishes flow as pressure-drop curves only. Send us your line pressure and consumption and we will confirm suitability from the datasheet on request.
No - J only removes the mounting bracket. Function, size 300, 1/2 in PT port, manual drain and the 40 um element are all identical to the bracketed GF30015M, and a bracketed version is available if you later need to panel-mount the filter.
