AirTAC GFR300 · Filter Regulator (filter + regulator in one body)

GFR300C10MLF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um

The AirTAC GFR300C10MLF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR300C10MLF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um

The GFR300C10MLF2WGK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at the set point. This configuration is built for low-pressure duty, with a G3/8 (BSPP) port, a 5 um filter element, a metal bowl with a manual drain, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, a built-in reverse/check valve, and a mounting bracket included.

It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options including automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR300G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
C1Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR300C10MLF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um Is Used

valve

Pneumatic clamping on a machining fixture

Filtered, regulated air at a set low pressure holds workpieces in the clamping circuit of a CNC lathe fixture, with the psi gauge giving the operator a visible set point at the machine.

science

Laboratory and test-rig air supply

A 5 um element with low-pressure regulation conditions the air feeding bench-top test rigs and analytical instruments, where particles and pressure drift would spoil the readings.

factory

Packaging line actuator supply

Feeding the small cylinders and air-piloted valves on a carton-sealing line, with the manual drain emptied at shift checks and the built-in check valve preventing backflow through the unit.

Is the GFR300C10MLF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um the Right Unit?

Choose the size by port and flow: this unit is size 300 with a G3/8 port; step up to 400 or 600 where the line needs more air. The 5 um element (code W) suits instruments and sensitive actuators, while the 40 um standard element suits general plant lines. Drain here is manual - open the bowl drain periodically; the same family can be ordered with an automatic or differential-pressure drain where the unit is hard to reach. The embedded square gauge reads psi; MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread is G (BSPP); PT is the AirTAC standard and NPT can be ordered. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR300C10MLF2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/8, 5 um FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm from the datasheet whether this G3/8 unit is correctly sized - on request, before you order.

This unit has a metal bowl with a manual drain: an operator opens the drain to remove collected condensate. If the unit sits where it cannot easily be reached, the same GFR family can be ordered with an automatic or a differential-pressure drain instead.
