GFR300C10MNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Manual Drain

The AirTAC GFR300C10MNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR300C10MNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Manual Drain

The AirTAC GFR300C10MNT is a filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This size 300 unit has 3/8 in NPT ports, a metal bowl with a manual drain for periodic draining, a 40 um standard filtration element, and a standard regulator adjustable from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). A mounting bracket is included and no gauge is fitted on this configuration. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and options including automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT thread variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

GFR300G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
C1Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Is the GFR300C10MNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Manual Drain the Right Unit?

Choose the size and port step (200/300/400/600, 1/8 to 1 in) against the air demand of your circuit; this unit steps up to 3/8 in NPT. Drain type is a real choice: manual (as here) means the bowl is emptied by hand at intervals, automatic drains continuously, and differential-pressure drains as the element loads up. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) and the bracket complete the configuration. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR300C10MNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/8 Manual Drain FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this 3/8 in unit on request.

The M in the code specifies a manual drain: the bowl is emptied by hand at intervals. The alternative codes are automatic drain (A) and differential-pressure drain (blank). With manual drain the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the unit operates from -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
