About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED100X30S
A double acting, double-rod ISO 21287 compact cylinder, the ACED100X30S pushes a 100 mm piston through a 30 mm stroke with a rod leaving both covers. Because each side of the piston sees the rod-side area, output is identical in either direction: 3769.9 N at 0.5 MPa and 5277.9 N at 0.7 MPa, both ways. The through-rod resists rotation and light side load, and the rear rod end gives you a free surface for a sensor flag or a symmetric second mount. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed range 30-500 mm/s.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with a hard-chrome plated S45C rod sits in a short ISO 21287 package that saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into press fixtures and gantries where a full-length body will not reach. A fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke shock.
