About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED125X30
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED125X30 pushes a 125 mm bore through a 30 mm stroke with a rod leaving both covers. Because each side works on the rod-side area, output is identical in either direction: 5890.5 N at 0.5 MPa and 8246.7 N at 0.7 MPa, the strongest class in the ACED range. The through-rod also resists rotation and side load, and its rear end can carry a sensor flag or a second tooling plate.
The short hard-anodized aluminium body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so heavy clamping fits inside tight press frames and gantries. A fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke shock, and the S45C hard-chrome rod with M16x2.0 female thread takes serious tooling. At 0.5 MPa, plan on roughly 3534 N of usable work, and with a 2:1 margin the rod lifts about 300 kg vertically. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) at 30-500 mm/s.
