About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED125X55B
A heavy-duty double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED125X55B pushes a 125 mm bore through a 55 mm stroke with a rod leaving BOTH covers. Because each side works on the rod-side area, output is identical in either direction: 5890.5 N at 0.5 MPa and 8246.7 N at 0.7 MPa, peaking at 1201.3 kgf on 1.0 MPa air. The male rod thread from the B code bolts straight to your tooling.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome plated 25 mm rod saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so this 12-tonne-class thruster fits presses and gantries where a full-length body cannot. At 0.5 MPa, plan on roughly 3534 N of real work, and the through-rod will lift about 180 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin.
