About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED20X45B
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED20X45B pushes a 20 mm bore through a 45 mm stroke with a piston rod leaving BOTH covers. Because each side works on the rod-side area, output is a matched 117.8 N at 0.5 MPa and 164.9 N at 0.7 MPa in either direction. The male rod thread (B code) bolts straight to your tooling, and the through-rod resists rotation while the rear rod can carry a sensor flag.
The short hard-anodized aluminium body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding. A fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke shock, the S45C hard-chrome rod runs at 30-500 mm/s, and the optional -S magnet lets CMSE / DMSE switches track position - without -S there is no magnet.
