About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED25X55S
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED25X55S pushes a 25 mm bore through a 55 mm stroke with a piston rod leaving both covers. Because each side sees the rod-side area, output is equal in both directions: 206.2 N at 0.5 MPa and 288.6 N at 0.7 MPa. The S code means the magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE switches can be clipped onto the body slots for end-of-stroke sensing.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits tight jigs and guarding.
