About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED25X70S
A double acting compact actuator built to ISO 21287, the ACED25X70S pushes a 25 mm piston through a 70 mm stroke with a rod leaving BOTH covers. Because each side works on the rod-side area, output is identical in either direction: 206.2 N at 0.5 MPa and 288.6 N at 0.7 MPa. The through-rod also resists rotation and modest side load, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag. The hard-anodized aluminium body is about 50% shorter in mounting length than an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixtures.
This model carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clipped onto the body slots for end-of-stroke signalling. A fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs stroke-end impact, the S45C hard-chrome rod runs in a roller-burnished bore, and the female M6x1.0 rod thread accepts standard knuckles.
