About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED32X150B
The ACED32X150B is a double acting, double-rod compact cylinder built to ISO 21287: a 32 mm bore pushes 150 mm of stroke with a 12 mm rod leaving BOTH covers, so thrust is identical on the extend and retract strokes - 345.6 N at 0.5 MPa and 483.8 N at 0.7 MPa in either direction. The B code gives a male rod thread on each end, and the 1/8" port serves both chambers. Running on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) air filtered to 40 um, it moves at 30-500 mm/s across -20 to +70 C.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it suits tight jigs, guarding and gantry frames. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries a hard-chrome S45C rod, a fixed TPU bumper decelerates the piston at each end, and the through-rod resists rotation and light side load while the rear rod can carry a sensor flag.
