The ACED40X70S is a double acting AirTAC compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, with a piston rod leaving BOTH covers. Because each stroke works on the rod-side area, output is identical in either direction: 571.8 N at 0.5 MPa and 800.5 N at 0.7 MPa, peaking at 116.6 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The 40 mm bore drives a 12 mm through-rod over a 70 mm stroke, with air ports tapped 1/8" PT.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight guarding and fixture plates.
