About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED63X35
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED63X35 pushes a 63 mm bore through a 35 mm stroke with a rod leaving both covers. Because each side sees the rod-side area, output is 1458.1 N at 0.5 MPa and 2041.3 N at 0.7 MPa in either direction. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, and the fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke shock.
The short body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixtures and gantries. The through-rod resists rotation and side load, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag. Plan on roughly 875 N (about 89 kg) of usable push at 0.5 MPa, or lift about 74 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Body is hard-anodized aluminium with an S45C hard-chrome rod; the optional -S magnet enables CMSE / DMSE switches.
