About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED63X45
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED63X45 pushes a 63 mm bore through a 45 mm stroke with a piston rod leaving both covers. Because each side sees the rod-side area, output is a symmetric 1458.1 N at 0.5 MPa and 2041.3 N at 0.7 MPa in either direction. The through-rod resists rotation and light side load, and the free back-end rod is a handy mount for a sensor flag on indexing fixtures.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome plated rod runs on air filtered to 40 um at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), 30-500 mm/s, from -20 to +70 C. Its short body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight gantries and guarding. At 0.5 MPa plan on roughly 875 N of usable work, which lifts about 74 kg vertically with margin. A fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke shock.
