About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED80X275
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED80X275 pushes a 20 mm rod out of BOTH covers, so thrust is identical on every stroke: 2356.2 N at 0.5 MPa and 3298.7 N at 0.7 MPa, either direction. The 80 mm bore runs on air filtered to 40 um at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), proof tested to 1.5 MPa (215 psi), with a speed window of 30-500 mm/s and a fixed TPU bumper at each end to soften arrival.
The hard-anodized aluminium body is roller-burnished inside and carries S45C hard-chrome rods, while the short ISO 21287 frame saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder - useful on long 275 mm strokes inside guards or gantries where depth is tight. Because the through-rod resists rotation and side load, the rear rod can also carry a sensor flag. Plan on roughly 1414 N of usable work at 0.5 MPa (about 60% of rating), which lifts around 72 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin.
