About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED80X50
The ACED80X50 is a double acting, double-rod ISO 21287 compact cylinder: a 20 mm hard-chrome S45C rod exits both covers, so the 80 mm bore delivers an identical 2356.2 N at 0.5 MPa in each direction and 3298.7 N at 0.7 MPa. The through-rod resists rotation and side load, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag or a second tooling plate. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), proof pressure 1.5 MPa (215 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so this 50 mm stroke unit slots into tight press fixtures and gantry frames.
