About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED80X55
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED80X55 pushes a 20 mm rod out of BOTH covers, so the 80 mm bore delivers the same 2356.2 N at 0.5 MPa (3298.7 N at 0.7 MPa) on every stroke - no push/pull imbalance to design around. The through-rod resists rotation and side load and gives a symmetric mount, while the back-end rod can carry a sensor flag.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with S45C hard-chrome plated rod runs on air filtered to 40 um at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), 30-500 mm/s, from -20 to +70 C, with a fixed TPU bumper at each end. The short body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, and at 0.5 MPa you can plan on roughly 1414 N of real work - about 72 kg lifted vertically with a 2:1 margin.
