About the Airtac ACEJ80~100 Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACEJ100X160-30S
The ACEJ100X160-30S is a double acting ISO 21287 compact cylinder with a 100 mm bore and a 160 mm stroke that an external stop screw can trim by up to 30 mm, giving a usable extend range of 130-160 mm. At 0.5 MPa it pushes with 3927 N and pulls with 3769.9 N, rising to 5497.8 N on the extend stroke at 0.7 MPa. The hard-anodized aluminium body and S45C hard-chrome plated rod handle 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) at speeds of 30-500 mm/s.
Because the short body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, this heavy-thrust bore still fits tight press fixtures and gantries. Plan on roughly 2356 N (about 240 kg) of real work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 200 kg vertically even with a 2:1 margin.
