About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X100SB
The ACP25X100SB is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 100 mm stroke, male rod thread (B code) and the optional -S magnet fitted so CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches can be mounted. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 206.2 N; at 0.7 MPa those rise to 343.6 N and 288.6 N, with a theoretical 50.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa. Its hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod runs on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) air filtered to 40 um, at 30-500 mm/s and -20 to +70 C.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit. For real work, plan on roughly 147 N (about 15 kg) of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 25 kg vertically at rating or roughly 12 kg with a 2:1 margin. Fixed TPU bumpers decelerate the piston at both ends but never hold a load - use a rod lock or pilot check valve if position must be kept. This model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is ACE25X100, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

At 245.4 N push and 206.2 N pull at 0.5 MPa, the 25 mm bore sits between the 20 mm (157.1 N push) and 32 mm (402.1 N push) sizes - step up to 32 mm if your load needs more than about 147 N of working force. The 100 mm stroke is well inside the 150 mm maximum standard stroke for this bore, so no made-to-order build is required. This version carries the -S magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches and a male rod thread; FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis mountings bolt to the same face. ACP is discontinued - order ACE25X100 as the current equivalent and verify ISO 21287 mounting dimensions.
