This model is discontinued
AirTAC has phased out the MAL series. The drop-in replacement is ACE25X110SB — same bore, stroke, output force, port and mounting, so it fits the same application. Simply order the ACE25X110SB in place of this model. The ACE replacement is a current-production ISO 21287 compact cylinder in the same bore, stroke and force class, with a matching short body and the same mounting-accessory family, so it fits the same envelope. Confirm mounting-interface dimensions against the ACE datasheet before ordering.

The AirTAC Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X110SB is a double acting DIN-standard tight/compact air cylinder with a Ø25mm bore and 110mm stroke, M5×0.8 air ports and a hard-anodized aluminium body. This model is discontinued — the current-production replacement is the ACE25X110SB (ISO 21287 ACE), in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The ACP25X110SB is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 110 mm stroke, male rod thread and the optional -S magnet fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted directly on the hard-anodized aluminium body. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 206.2 N; at 0.7 MPa those figures rise to 343.6 N and 288.6 N, with a theoretical maximum of 50.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into tight jigs and guard rails. As a working rule, plan on about 147 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa - roughly 15 kg of vertical lift capacity with a 2:1 margin - instead of the full rating. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACE25X110, and you should confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. Operating range is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, with fixed TPU bumpers at both ends.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC ACP datasheet (now discontinued). The ACE25X110SB (ISO 21287) carries the same bore/stroke/force class; confirm mounting-interface dimensions against the ACE datasheet before installation. Rod type: female thread (blank) or male thread (B). Thread options: PT (blank) / G.
| Pressure | Push force | Pull force |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5 MPa | 245 N | 206 N |
| 0.7 MPa | 344 N | 289 N |
| Max (@1.0 MPa) | 50 kgf | |
The ACE25X110SB produces the same force from the same bore. Actual usable force is lower than theoretical; size with a margin.
| ACP | DIN compact cylinder (double-acting, discontinued). |
|---|---|
| 25 | Bore size in mm. |
| ×110 | Stroke length in mm. |
| S | Optional built-in magnet for sensor position sensing (omit for no magnet). |
| B | Rod type: B = male thread; blank = female thread. |
Replacement mapping (swap P for E): ACP→ACE, ASP→ASE, ATP→ATE, ACPD→ACED, ACPJ→ACEJ. ACP-family: ACP (double acting), ASP / ATP (single acting push / pull), ACPD (double rod), ACPJ (adjustable stroke).
The 245.4 N push at 0.5 MPa and 110 mm stroke clear pallet receivers and swing clamps on machining fixtures, with the short body fitting inside the fixture plate footprint.
Because the -S magnet is fitted, a CMSE or DMSE switch confirms full extension before the carton pusher retracts - useful at 30-500 mm/s cycle speeds.
About 15 kg of vertical lift capability with a 2:1 margin handles lightweight gate arms and diverter flaps between conveyor lanes.
For a 110 mm stroke in this force band, the 25 mm bore sits between the 20 mm (157.1 N push at 0.5 MPa) and the 32 mm (402.1 N push at 0.5 MPa) - step up to 32 mm if your load approaches the 147 N usable figure. A plain cylinder of this type drifts when air is lost, so add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the load must stay put. The B code gives a male 10 mm rod thread; FA/FB flange, LB foot or CA/CB clevis mounts bolt to the same face. Since the ACP line is discontinued, order the ACE25X110 and verify ISO 21287 dimensions.
Replacement checklist
Push is 245.4 N and pull 206.2 N at 0.5 MPa; at 0.7 MPa push is 343.6 N and pull 288.6 N; theoretical maximum is 50.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa. It is a 25 mm bore, 110 mm stroke, double acting compact cylinder with a 10 mm male rod thread, M5x0.8 port, 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) operating pressure, 1.5 MPa (215 psi) proof pressure, -20 to +70 C temperature range and 30-500 mm/s speed.
Order the ACE25X110, the current-production ISO 21287 successor: swap the P for an E and you get the same 25 mm bore, 110 mm stroke and force class with a matching short body and mounting family. Because the ACP was built to the DIN standard, confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions against your existing fixture before the swap.
