About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X35B
The ACP25X35B is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 35 mm stroke, pushing 245.4 N and pulling 206.2 N at 0.5 MPa (343.6 N / 288.6 N at 0.7 MPa). Its short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome 10 mm rod with a male thread (the B code), and the port is M5x0.8.
Practical sizing: at 0.5 MPa plan on about 147 N of usable push force, which corresponds to lifting roughly 12 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. A fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke contact but never locks or holds a load - add a rod lock or pilot check valve if the position must be kept when air is lost. This model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is ACE25X35, so confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
