About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X35S
The ACP25X35S is a double acting DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 25 mm bore and 35 mm stroke, driving a 10 mm rod from an M5x0.8 port. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 206.2 N, rising to 343.6 N push at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical ceiling of 50.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The -S code means the magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be clipped on for end-of-stroke sensing. Note this model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is ACE25X35.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight fixtures where a full-length body cannot. In practice, plan on roughly 147 N (about 15 kgf) of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts a part of around 7 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, the hard-anodized aluminium body carries an S45C hard-chrome rod, and speed runs 30-500 mm/s across 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi).
