About the Airtac ACP Compact Cylinder ACP25X45B
Double acting and DIN-standard compact, the ACP25X45B moves its 25 mm bore piston over a 45 mm stroke with air on both faces of the piston. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 206.2 N, rising to 343.6 N and 288.6 N at 0.7 MPa, with a theoretical ceiling of 50.1 kgf at 1.0 MPa. The male rod thread (B code) on the 10 mm rod bolts straight to I/Y knuckles, and the fixed TPU bumper at each end simply decelerates the piston. This model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is ACE25X45.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit. Practical sizing: treat about 147 N (0.6 of the push figure) as the usable working force at 0.5 MPa, which corresponds to lifting roughly 15 kg vertically - halve that to about 7 kg if you want a 2:1 margin on a real part. Note there is no magnet fitted, so position switches cannot be used unless you order the -S variant with CMSE / DMSE sensors.

Step down to a 20 mm bore (157.1 N) for lighter gates, or up to a 32 mm bore (402.1 N) when the load grows. Remember a plain ACP does not hold position when air is lost - add a rod lock or pilot check valve for a suspended load. FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis mounts all fit the same face.
