About the Airtac ACPD Double Rod Compact Cylinder ACPD50X25B
Double acting with a rod leaving both covers, the ACPD50X25B pushes and pulls with identical force because each stroke works on the rod-side area of the 50 mm piston: 881.2 N at 0.5 MPa and 1233.7 N at 0.7 MPa in either direction. The through-rod resists rotation and side load, and its rear end can carry a sensor flag while the front does the work. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the male rod thread (B code) bolts straight to tooling.
The hard-anodized aluminium body follows the ISO 21287 short format, cutting roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and gantries. As a planning figure, count on about 529 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts roughly 27 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note this model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ACED50X25, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
