About the Airtac ACPD Double Rod Compact Cylinder ACPD63X45S
Double acting with a rod leaving both covers, the ACPD63X45S is a DIN-standard compact cylinder whose 63 mm bore delivers 1458.1 N in either direction at 0.5 MPa, because both strokes work on the rod-side area. The 45 mm stroke, 16 mm through-rod and fixed TPU bumper at each end suit short, symmetric push-pull motions running 30-500 mm/s on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) air.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight welding jigs and gantry frames. The through-rod resists rotation and side load, and its rear end can carry a sensor flag while the front does the work. As the S code is fitted, CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches mount directly on the body.
