About the Airtac ACPD Double Rod Compact Cylinder ACPD63X75
A double acting compact cylinder with a rod through both covers, the ACPD63X75 delivers 1458.1 N in each direction at 0.5 MPa because both strokes work on the rod-side area. The 63 mm bore carries a 16 mm rod, and the 75 mm stroke sits well inside the 250 mm standard range for this size. Its hard-anodized aluminium body is an ISO 21287 short build, cutting roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and gantries.
The through-rod resists rotation and side load and gives a symmetric mount; the rear rod can carry a sensor flag. A fixed TPU bumper sits at each end, and speed runs 30-500 mm/s over 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi). Plan on about 875 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa, which lifts roughly 74 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Note this model is discontinued: the current-production drop-in is the ACED63X75, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
