About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X75-20B
Double acting and adjustable in stroke, the ACPJ16X75-20B is a DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 16 mm bore and a 75 mm stroke that a stop screw can trim by up to 20 mm, giving a usable extend range of 55-75 mm. Push force is 100.5 N and pull is 75.4 N at 0.5 MPa, rising to 140.7 N and 105.6 N at 0.7 MPa. The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends and speed runs 30-500 mm/s.
Note for buyers: this model is DISCONTINUED. The current-production drop-in is the ACEJ16X75 (swap the P for an E), which matches the same bore, stroke and force class in the ISO 21287 family - confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping, since the ACP is DIN-standard. Because the B code orders a male rod thread and no S code is present, there is no magnet fitted, so no CMSE or DMSE switch can be mounted on this unit. As a rule of thumb, plan on about 60 N (roughly 6 kg of vertical lift with margin) of real work at 0.5 MPa rather than the full 100.5 N rating.
