About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ20X110-30S
The ACPJ20X110-30S is a double acting compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: a stop screw trims the 110 mm stroke by up to 30 mm, giving a usable range of 80-110 mm. This 20 mm bore unit delivers 157.1 N of push force at 0.5 MPa, and the -S code means the optional magnet is fitted, so CMSE or DMSE reed and solid-state switches can be mounted directly on the hard-anodized aluminium body. The 110 mm stroke exceeds the 100 mm maximum standard stroke for bore 20, so it is a made-to-order length.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into tight jigs and gantries. In practice, plan on roughly 94 N of usable push at 0.5 MPa (about 0.6 of the rating), which lifts about 8 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends and the S45C hard-chrome rod runs on a two-way grease-storing seal. Note: this model is discontinued; the current-production drop-in is the ACEJ20X110, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.

Replacing the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ20X110-30S with the ACEJ20X110-30S
At 157.1 N push at 0.5 MPa this is the largest bore in the ACPJ family; step down to the 16 mm bore (100.5 N push) if the load is lighter and space is tighter. The 30 mm window suits fixtures where the final extend position is tuned on site, but remember the stop screw only shortens the stroke - it is not a mid-stroke lock, and the rod still drifts if air is lost. Mount with FA/FB flanges or LB feet, use the female M6x1.0 rod thread with I/Y knuckles, and order PT or G ports. For new builds, specify the ACEJ20X110 instead - this ACPJ is discontinued.

The 110 mm stroke remains a made-to-order length on the ACEJ as well.
