About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ20X120-40
This double acting ACPJ20X120-40 is a DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 40 mm adjustment window: an external stop screw trims the 120 mm extend stroke anywhere down to 80 mm on site. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 157.1 N and pulls 117.8 N, and its short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and gantries. The 120 mm stroke exceeds the 100 mm standard maximum for bore 20, so it is a made-to-order stroke.
A hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome 10 mm rod and a fixed TPU bumper at both ends runs at 30-500 mm/s on 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) filtered air. Plan on roughly 94 N (about 9.6 kg) of usable vertical push at 0.5 MPa, or about 4.8 kg with a 2:1 margin, when matching a real part weight. This model is discontinued: the current drop-in is ACEJ20X120, and you should confirm the ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
