About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ20X120-75SB
This double acting compact cylinder trims its extend stroke on site: the -75 stop screw shortens the 120 mm stroke by up to 75 mm, giving a usable 45-120 mm range. The 20 mm bore delivers 157.1 N push and 117.8 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 219.9 N at 0.7 MPa. The 120 mm stroke exceeds the 100 mm standard for this bore, so it is made to order.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight gantries and guarding. As a rule of thumb, plan on roughly 94 N (about 9.6 kg) of real work at 0.5 MPa, which lifts about 4.8 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. The -S code on this model fits the magnet for CMSE / DMSE switches. Note: the ACPJ family is discontinued - the current drop-in is ACEJ20X120; confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping.
