About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ20X125-10S
A double acting compact cylinder with adjustable stroke, the ACPJ20X125-10S uses a 20 mm bore to deliver 157.1 N push and 117.8 N pull at 0.5 MPa, rising to 219.9 N at 0.7 MPa. The -10 code adds a 10 mm adjustment window: an external stop screw trims the 125 mm extend stroke on site, so the usable range is 115-125 mm. The 125 mm stroke exceeds the 100 mm standard limit for bore 20, so this unit is made to order. This model carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches can be mounted directly on the hard-anodized aluminium body.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which matters in tight gantries and guarding. For sizing, treat roughly 94 N (about 0.6 of the push force) as the practical working effort at 0.5 MPa - roughly 9 kg of vertical lift with a 2:1 margin. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the S45C hard-chrome rod runs on a female M6x1.0 thread.
