About the Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP63X5
A single acting push cylinder with spring return, the ASP63X5 extends its 16 mm rod under air pressure and retracts by spring when the air is cut. This 63 mm bore unit delivers 1420.5 N of push at 0.5 MPa (2044 N at 0.7 MPa), already net of the spring, so the figure you see is the force you get at the rod. The 5 mm stroke suits short eject, clamp and press-check moves on a single air line.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it fits tight jigs and guarded stations. The hard-anodized aluminium body carries a fixed TPU bumper at both ends, and the S45C hard-chrome rod ends in a female M10x1.5 thread. Note: this model is discontinued - the current-production drop-in is the ASE63X5, so confirm ISO 21287 mounting dimensions before swapping. Plan for roughly 852 N (about 87 kgf) of real work at 0.5 MPa, or match a vertical lift of about 72 kg with a 2:1 margin.
