The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF200C06M is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The AirTAC GF200C06M is a G-series air filter in the 200 size - a genuine AirTAC part for water and particulate removal only, with no pressure regulation and no lubrication. The M code selects the manual drain: an operator opens the drain valve to eject collected condensate, which gives visible control of what leaves the bowl. With the manual drain, the maximum inlet pressure is 0.9 MPa (about 130 psi) rather than the 1.0 MPa of the auto/differential-drain versions. Ports are PT1/8 in. (PT standard; G and NPT are orderable options), the element is the standard 40 um grade, and the bowl is polycarbonate on the 200 size. Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing); a mounting bracket is included.
This is a configuration of the AirTAC G-series filter family covering sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains and an optional 5 um fine element (code W). AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves rather than a single rating, so contact us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at a manually operated valve and actuator station on a process line, the filter keeps moisture and scale out of the actuator internals, and the manual drain lets the operator clear condensate as part of each shift check.
Installed on the compressed-air drop feeding weld-gun clamping cylinders and pneumatic weld tools in a fabrication shop, the 40 um element removes pipe debris and water; operators bleed the bowl during daily start-up checks.
Used on the shop-air feed to an HVAC service bench where gauges, hoses and vacuum-pump fittings are connected, the filter with manual drain gives the technician visible, controlled moisture removal before air touches test equipment.
Choose manual drain where an operator is present at the machine anyway - a maintenance shift or end-of-day blow-down routine - or where you want certainty about what has accumulated in the bowl; choose differential-pressure (default) or automatic (A) drainage for unattended lines. Remember the manual-drain pressure limit: 0-0.9 MPa inlet versus 1.0 MPa for the other drain types, so check your header pressure first. The PT1/8 in. ports and 200 size are the smallest G-series step; move up a size for greater demand and let us confirm the flow curve against your consumption before ordering. The 40 um element suits general plant air; select the W variant for 5 um fine filtration. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT (T) as catalogue options.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
No single rated flow number exists in the catalogue - AirTAC publishes filter flow as characteristic curves over a pressure range. Tell us your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M code means you open the drain valve yourself to expel condensate, giving hands-on control instead of automatic discharge. The practical limit to note is pressure: with a manual drain the maximum inlet is 0.9 MPa, versus 1.0 MPa for the differential-pressure and automatic drain versions of the same filter.
