The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF200C06MJ is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF200C06MJ is a genuine AirTAC G-series air filter in the compact GF200 size. It does one job: remove water and particulate from compressed air - there is no pressure regulation and no lubrication in this unit. The 06 port decodes to PT1/8 with PT thread as the standard, the M code gives a manual drain you empty by hand, and the element is the 40 um standard grade. The J code means no mounting bracket is supplied. Because this is the manual-drain version, the maximum inlet pressure is 0-0.9 MPa, and the polycarbonate bowl suits the 200 size. Working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part, sold by an authorised distributor for the US market. The GF family spans the 200/300/400/600 sizes with larger ports and flow on the bigger bodies, and the catalogue offers automatic, manual and differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, G (BSPP) and NPT thread options, and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding compact pneumatic grippers on an assembly cell: the filter strips water and pipe scale before the 1/8 in drop so gripper seals and small valves stay clean, with the manual drain bled at shift start.
Cleaning the compressed air feeding benchtop lab instruments and small air cylinders, where a compact 1/8 in unit at the point of use catches moisture carried over from the shop system.
Point-of-use filtration on short 1/8 in drops serving hand-held air tools and blow-off stations, keeping rust and water out of tool motors; the operator drains the bowl during cleanup.
Start with the port: 06 gives PT1/8, the smallest step in the GF range, so move up to GF300/400/600 if your line needs more flow per body. Choose the drain to suit access: manual (M) needs an operator to bleed the bowl but tolerates lower inlet pressure, automatic drains itself while running, and the differential-pressure default is a set-and-forget middle ground. Stick with the 40 um element for general upstream protection, or order a W-code unit for 5 um where finer pre-filtration matters. PT is standard; G and NPT are orderable thread options, and the J code on this model omits the bracket.
Because AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves and not a single rated number, we do not quote a flow figure here. Tell us your line pressure and demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as performance curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the official datasheet before you order.
The M code selects a manual drain you empty by hand - the right choice where the unit is visible and visited daily - and it carries a 0-0.9 MPa inlet rating. The J code omits the mounting bracket; order the plain C06M version if you want the bracket included. Automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on other GF200 variants.
