The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF200C08 is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF200C08 is an AirTAC G-series air filter for compressed air only: it removes water and particulate from the line and does nothing else - there is no pressure regulation and no lubrication in this unit. This configuration is size 200 with a 1/4 in PT thread, the standard 40 um filtration element, and a differential-pressure drain that discharges condensate from the polycarbonate bowl automatically as the pressure drop across the element rises. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series filter family spans sizes 200 to 600, so you can step up port size and flow capacity as your demand grows, and the catalogue options include automatic or manual drains, a finer 5 um element (W suffix), G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and a no-bracket (J) version. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Cleaning and drying the compressed air feeding impact wrenches, air ratchets and blow guns at a maintenance bench, so moisture and swarf do not reach the tool couplings.
Conditioning the air feeding carton sealers and case tapers on a packing line, where water carryover into the cylinders causes sticky valves and jammed flaps.
Filtering the low-flow compressed air that purges sample-prep enclosures and analytical instruments in a lab, protecting sensitive internals from particulate.
Size 200 with a 1/4 in PT port suits compact branch lines and individual machines; if your demand sits near the top of the size-200 flow curve, step up to size 300 or 400 rather than starving the element. Choose the drain to match the duty: differential-pressure as on this model, automatic (A) for unattended drains, or manual (M) where someone empties the bowl on a routine. The standard element is 40 um; specify the W version for 5 um where downstream equipment needs finer protection. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as catalogue options, and the mounting bracket is included on this model.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves across the pressure range rather than as one rated number, so we do not quote a single figure here. Tell us your line pressure and required flow and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
This GF200C08 carries the differential-pressure drain as standard, which discharges condensate automatically when the pressure drop across the element rises. The A suffix gives an automatic drain, and M gives a manual drain you operate yourself, with a 0-0.9 MPa inlet limit instead of 1.0 MPa.
