The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF200C08J is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF200C08J is an AirTAC G-series air filter for compressed air only: filtration of water and particulate, with no pressure regulation and no lubrication. It is the size-200 unit with a 1/4 in PT thread, the standard 40 um element and a differential-pressure drain that empties the polycarbonate bowl automatically as the pressure drop across the element rises. The J suffix means this version is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. Within the G-series filter family you can move up through sizes 300, 400 and 600 for larger ports and flow, and order the options you need: automatic or manual drains, the 5 um W element, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, or the bracketed standard version. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your line.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fitting directly into a machine builder's own pneumatic sub-panel on 1/4 in lines, cleaning air before it reaches directional valves and small cylinders on automated fixtures.
Removing water and pipe scale ahead of blow-off nozzles that dry bottles or parts on a production line, so the cleaned jets leave no spots or streaks.
Filtering shop air at the service-bay drops of a truck or bus depot, keeping rust and condensate out of tire inflators and impact guns used all day.
The no-bracket J version suits installations where the unit hangs directly on the 1/4 in PT line connection or is built into your own manifold or panel, rather than standing on a bracket against a wall. If you need panel mounting, order the standard GF200C08 with the included bracket instead. Drain choice is differential-pressure here, automatic (A) or manual (M); element grade is the standard 40 um, with 5 um available as the W option; threads are PT standard or G (BSPP) / NPT to order.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves over pressure rather than a single rated value, so there is no one number we can quote here. Send us your working pressure and demand and we will confirm the correct size from the datasheet on request.
The J suffix on the GF200C08J is AirTAC's catalogue code for the version supplied without a bracket, intended for in-line or built-in installations. The standard GF200C08 without the J includes the bracket if you prefer panel or wall mounting.
