The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF200C08JW is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF200C08JW is an AirTAC G-series air filter for compressed air only: it removes water and particulate, with no regulation and no lubrication. The W suffix selects the finer 5 um filtration element instead of the standard 40 um, for applications where finer particulate protection matters. This version is size 200 with a 1/4 in PT thread, a differential-pressure drain that empties the polycarbonate bowl automatically, and the J no-bracket construction. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The same 5 um element can be ordered across the G-series filter sizes 200 to 600, in automatic or manual drain versions, with G (BSPP) or NPT threads as catalogue options and with or without the mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding cleaner 5 um-filtered air to solenoid valve manifolds on an automated assembly machine, reducing fine-particle fouling of spool clearances.
Filtering the pilot air for through-tool coolant and mist delivery on a machining center, where fine debris in the pilot line disrupts nozzle control.
Conditioning the small-bore air used to transfer powder samples between stations in a lab handling rig, keeping grit out of metering valves.
Choose the 5 um W element over the standard 40 um when the equipment downstream - precision valves, air bearings, measuring devices - needs finer particulate protection; note that a finer element loads faster, so drain choice and bowl inspection intervals matter more. This version has no bracket (J) and a 1/4 in PT port; step to size 300 or 400 if your flow demand outgrows the size-200 curve. Threads are PT standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT to order.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
There is no single rated flow number to quote: AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves across the pressure range. Tell us your line pressure and required flow and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The W suffix on this model selects the 5 um element, which catches finer particulate than the standard 40 um version. Choose it when downstream devices such as precision valves or instruments need that extra protection; the 40 um element remains the standard choice for general plant air.
