The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF200C08M is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
The GF200C08M is an AirTAC G-series air filter for compressed air only: it removes water and particulate from the line, with no pressure regulation and no lubrication. The M suffix selects the manual drain: an operator opens the drain on the polycarbonate bowl to discharge collected condensate, which suits attended installations on a daily-check routine. This configuration is size 200 with a 1/4 in PT thread and the standard 40 um element. With the manual drain, maximum inlet pressure is 0.9 MPa (130 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The same manual-drain filter is available across G-series sizes 200 to 600, and the catalogue alternatives are the differential-pressure and automatic drains, the 5 um W element, G (BSPP) or NPT threads and a no-bracket J version. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering air at the outlet manifold of a small plant compressor room, where an operator on the daily walk-round can crack the manual drain and empty the bowl.
Cleaning the 1/4 in bench air supply in a vehicle workshop before it reaches air ratchets, blow guns and tire chucks, with the bowl drained at shift end.
Conditioning the air feeding quarter-turn pneumatic valve actuators on a small water treatment skid, where operators already include drain checks in rounds.
Pick the manual-drain M version when the filter sits where someone walks past daily - a compressor-room manifold, a service bench, a machine-side drop - and the line pressure stays within the 0-0.9 MPa manual-drain limit. For unattended or hard-to-reach positions, choose the differential-pressure drain (standard) or the automatic A drain instead. This model keeps the standard 40 um element, a 1/4 in PT port and the included bracket; specify W for 5 um filtration or J for the bracket-less body.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your working pressure and demand and we will confirm the right size against the datasheet on request.
The M suffix replaces the standard differential-pressure drain with a hand-operated drain, so an operator must empty the polycarbonate bowl periodically. It also lowers the maximum inlet pressure for this unit to 0.9 MPa (130 psi), versus 1.0 MPa for the differential-pressure version.
