The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF200C08MJW is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF200C08MJW is an AirTAC GF-series air filter for compressed air. It provides filtration only - no pressure regulation and no lubrication. This unit is size 200 with a 1/4 inch PT (standard) port, a W-specified 5 um fine filtration element, a manual drain, and no mounting bracket (J option).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with 40 um standard or 5 um elements, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and PT (standard), G or NPT threads as catalogue options. Maximum inlet pressure for this manual-drain filter is 0-0.9 MPa. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm sizing and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Use this filter on the supply line to lab analysers, air bearings or pneumatic sample-handling devices, where the 5 um element screens fine particulate that the standard grade would pass through to sensitive components.
Install ahead of positioner and pilot-air connections on control valves in a process skid. Clean, dry 5 um-filtered air keeps small orifices and pilot passages clear, and the manual drain fits a rounds-based maintenance walk.
Fit on the 1/4 inch line feeding air-bearing fixtures or gripper stations on an assembly bench, where grit in the supply would score mating surfaces. The bracketless body mounts compactly behind the bench panel.
Choose the W element here when the 40 um standard grade is not fine enough for the downstream equipment; 5 um suits precision valves, sensors and instrumentation feeds. Size 200 with a 1/4 inch PT port fits compact machine-level supplies - move to 300/400/600 where port size and flow demand grow. Manual drain means someone must bleed the bowl periodically; select automatic drain for unattended locations. PT is the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT are order options; the J code omits the bracket.
Because GF-series flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm this size against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC does not publish a single rated flow number for the GF series; flow is given as curves over the pressure range. Rather than quote an estimate, we will pull the datasheet and confirm that size 200 at your line pressure covers your air demand - just ask on request before ordering.
The W position selects a 5 um filtration element instead of the 40 um standard grade, so this unit strips finer particulate from the compressed air. Everything else in the code is unchanged: 1/4 inch PT port, manual drain, no bracket, and filtration only - no regulation or lubrication.
