The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF200C08W is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF200C08W is an AirTAC GF-series air filter for compressed air. It removes water and particulate only - no pressure regulation, no lubrication. This unit is size 200 with a 1/4 inch PT (standard) port, a W-specified 5 um fine element, the differential-pressure drain (the family default, so no drain letter appears in the code), and a mounting bracket included. The 200-size bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GF family covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with 40 um standard or 5 um elements, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and PT (standard), G or NPT threads as catalogue options. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so we confirm sizing and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 06 = PT1/8", 08 = PT1/4". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Fit this filter on the supply feeding small pneumatic actuators and air-assisted solenoid functions around a PLC-controlled cabinet. The 5 um element protects compact internals, and the differential-pressure drain suits a cabinet that is not opened every shift.
Install on the 1/4 inch line supplying air bag actuators and lift-assist cylinders at a loading dock. Filtered air keeps the bag material and cylinder seals free of grit and moisture, with the bracket mounting the unit beside the dock controls.
Use ahead of the air jets and ejector cylinders that divert parcels between sorting modules. The fine element prevents nozzle blockage from pipe scale, and the differential-pressure drain copes with condensate between scheduled checks.
This is the code-default drain configuration with the fine W element added: differential-pressure drainage uses the pressure differential across the element to help clear the bowl, so no drain letter is needed and inlet pressure is rated to the full 1.0 MPa. Size 200 with a 1/4 inch PT port fits machine-level supplies; choose 300/400/600 for bigger ports and higher flow. The 5 um element suits equipment that the 40 um standard grade would leave exposed. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and the bracket is included.
Because GF-series flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
There is no single rated flow figure to quote: AirTAC publishes GF-series flow as curves across the working pressure range. Tell us your line pressure and what the filter is feeding, and we will confirm from the datasheet on request whether size 200 at 1/4 inch is correctly sized before you order.
A blank drain position selects the differential-pressure drain, the default for the GF family, where the pressure drop across the element assists drainage of the bowl. It also keeps the inlet rated to the full 1.0 MPa (145 psi). If you prefer hands-on control, the M code gives a manual drain; the A code gives an automatic drain.
