The AirTAC Airtac GF Filter GF300C08 is a genuine G-series air filter. It separates condensed water and filters particulate from the compressed-air line through a 40 µm element, with See datasheet ports and a differential-pressure drain. A filter does not set downstream pressure — pair it with a GR regulator, or use a GFR filter regulator, when pressure control is needed.
GF300C08 is an AirTAC G-series compressed air filter - filtration only, with no regulator and no lubricator. It is the size 300 body with a 1/4 in PT (code 08) port and the standard 40 um element, fitted with the default differential-pressure drain and a mounting bracket. Condensate and particles collect in the polycarbonate bowl; maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. Around this configuration the GF family offers sizes 200/300/400/600, ports from 1/8 to 1 in, 40 um or 5 um elements, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and the J option to delete the bracket; the size 600 bowl is aluminium alloy while this size 300 bowl is PC. Flow data is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the figures and the datasheet on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The inlet-pressure band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains run 0.15 - 1.0 MPa, a manual drain runs 0 - 0.9 MPa. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| C0 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain. Options are differential (blank), automatic (A) or manual (M). |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. A bracket ships by default; J orders it without. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
Field order is size, port, drain, bracket, grade, thread — a blank position takes the default. Example: GF300-10AJW is a 300 body, PT3/8", automatic drain, no bracket, 5 µm element, PT thread.
A larger body carries a larger port and passes more air at the same pressure drop. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure. The GF600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filters the line feeding impact drivers and ratchets at a small assembly bench, catching water and pipe scale before they reach the tools.
Protects the solenoid manifold inside a machine control cabinet, sitting immediately upstream of the 1/4 in valves it supplies.
Cleans air for the fold-and-tape cylinders on a carton sealing conveyor, a duty where the 40 um element and differential-pressure drain are sufficient.
At 1/4 in PT, this size 300 unit is the common choice for machine-level air drops. Step to size 200 for compact 1/8-1/4 in circuits or to 400/600 for larger ports and flow. The 40 um element is standard; order the W suffix for 5 um. Drainage options are the differential-pressure drain fitted here, automatic (A) or manual (M). Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as catalogue options, and a bracket is included unless J is specified. Because flow is shown as curves, not a single number, ask us to check the size against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents or exposed to synthetic oils that attack polycarbonate — wipe it with a dry cloth. A filter removes water and particulate only; it does not regulate pressure or add lubrication.
AirTAC publishes filter flow as pressure-drop curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not state a number here. Give us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the correct size and provide the datasheet figures on request.
GF300C08 is filtration only - water and particulate removal with a drain bowl, no pressure adjustment. A GFR filter-regulator combines both functions in one body and adds a gauge and an adjustment range; if you also need lubrication, look at the GC three-unit F.R.L. We can confirm the datasheet for any of these on request.
